Holiday Nails

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

i cannot believe that christmas is almost here. like where has the year gone really?

today’s post documents my top pics for holiday nails. most people i know stick to reds during this time of the season, but for me, i love color. deep blues, greens, you name i’m here for it….

i LIVE for an accent nail around the holiday season. if my job allowed, i would show up to work with glitter nails all day every day. but for now, i stick to neutral colors (every color is neutral in my book, lets be honest).

for reds, my favorites for the season are smith and cults’s kundalini hustle (poppy red) and lover’s creep (deep bordeaux). depending on what look you’re going for both are stunning reds that looks great against all skin tones. for a more fun color marc jocob’s hi-shine nail lacquer in blue velvet is a winner. it is a stunning “iridescent deep ocean blue” that is unique yet holiday appropriate. best thing about it is you can wear this color all year round.

of course, this post could not be complete without a deep plum shade. dior’s nail lacquer in purple revolution takes the cake. i love the versatility of this polish as in some lights it pulls more purple while in other it pulls more plum. either way it’s a great polish with a lovely formula.

lastly and probably my favorite of the bunch are these two deborah lippman beauties. i love a deep forrest green nail color. idk what it is but i love seeing green nails around the holiday season. these two are straight up my alley. deborah lippman’s shake your money maker (green and gold glitter) & laughing to the bank (emerald green limited edition shade but still available.) are so gorge! the names alone get me! i almost did not include them in this post because both are limited edition shades. not to worry though, a notable dupe for shake your money maker comes in the form of emerald eve’s hard candy  .

i hope you enjoyed this short (was it really, lol) post before the holiday.

wishing you all a fabulous christmas with lots of love, laughter and good food
